Beet Protein Smoothie

This vibrant beet smoothie combines the sweet, earthy flavor of beetroot with sweet and tangy red fruits, crisp apple, and a sharp kick of ginger. Our Protein powder makes this smoothie creamier and richer in protein, which is exactly what you want ;). Beets have incredible health benefits, and with autumn around the corner, it's a good idea to add root vegetables to your diet—or smoothies!

Ingredients

For 2 servings you'll need:

  • 1 (cooked) beet
  • 1 apple
  • 50 grams frozen blueberries
  • 50 grams frozen cherries
  • 50 grams raspberries
  • 2 to 3 cm piece of fresh ginger
  • 1 scoop (30g) Protein powder
  • 250 ml milk of your choice (or water)
    Optional: hemp seeds or pumpkin seeds as a topping

Preparation

Cut the beet and apple into pieces and place them in the blender along with the berries, cherries, and raspberries. Add the milk or water. Grate or finely chop the ginger, add it to the blender, and blend for about ten seconds. Then, add a scoop of Protein powder and blend until everything is well mixed. Tip: Add some seeds, nuts, or nuts as a topping to the smoothie so that you have something to chew on, which is better for digestion.
